Often, after years of rapid, major life change, the past looms
with shocking emotional force; the catalyst can be something
as simple as hearing a couple of classic songs on the radio.

CHASIN' DOWN ANOTHER MEMORY
Summer 1995, Raleigh NC

Sometimes it feels so strong, pullin' me back
  Sometimes it hits me unaware
That old familiar song, takin' me back to a time
When life was so much simpler

I remember the Summer places, turnin' to Fall
I can't forget their faces; I loved them all
I get to wonderini where they are now

It's not you, girl, it's me
      I'm chasin' down another memory
It gets to where I can't see
When I'm chasin' down another memory

Sometimes it gets so intense, this ache in my soul
Sometimes I could just run away
That half-forgotten tune, takin' me back to the days
When my heart was so much softer

I remember the Summer places, turnin' to Fall
I won't forget their faces; how I miss them all
I wonder where in the world they could be now

It's not you, girl, it's me
      I'm chasin' down another memory
It gets to where I can't see
When I'm chasin' down another memory
